Who we are
Games Mothership is a trading card game store at 6671 E Baseline Rd, Ste 101, Mesa, AZ 85206. We run this website, gamesmothership.com, and the in-store events, private coaching, and membership it describes. When this policy says "we" or "the store" it means Games Mothership.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Booking a coaching session: your first name, last name, and email address, together with the game, coach, date, and time you chose.
- Registering for an event: your first name, last name, and email address, together with the event and date.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
- Contacting us: whatever you include in an email, call, or message to the store.
We do not ask for your phone number, date of birth, or postal address on this site, and we never collect payment card details here. Payment happens on our online store, which is described under Payments.
Information collected automatically
- Spam protection. When you submit a form, our server counts submissions from your internet (IP) address for one hour to block automated abuse. The count is stored under a hashed version of the address and is deleted automatically after the hour. We do not keep a log of visitor IP addresses.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider may keep standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
This site does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To hold your coaching time or event seat and confirm it with you by email.
- To let the coach you booked know who to expect.
- To send the newsletter you asked for. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To answer your questions and resolve problems with a booking or registration.
- To keep our forms from being abused by bots.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax or accounting records for paid registrations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Payments
Membership, private coaching, and paid event entry are purchased through our online store, which is hosted by Shopify and opens in a new tab. Shopify collects the information needed to process your order, including your name, billing details, and payment card, and processes it under the Shopify Privacy Policy.
We never see or store your full card number. We receive the order details Shopify shares with merchants, such as your name, email address, what you bought, and the amount paid, and we use them to match your payment to your booking or registration.
How long we keep it
- Booking and registration records stay in our system so we can see who attended, handle follow-up questions, and keep the accounting records the law requires for paid entries. We review and clear old records periodically.
- Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
- Spam-protection counters expire automatically after one hour.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See Your choices.
Your choices and rights
- Newsletter. Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or email us and we will remove you.
- Access and correction. Email us to ask what information we hold about you or to fix something that is wrong.
- Deletion. Email us to ask that we delete your information. We will do so unless we need to keep a record for an unfinished booking, an accounting requirement, or another legal reason, and we will tell you if that is the case.
- Cancelling a booking or registration. Email us before the session or event and we will release your spot.
Send requests to info@gamesmothership.com. We may ask you to confirm the email address the record is under before we act on a request. We aim to respond within 30 days.
If you live in a state or country whose law gives you additional privacy rights, such as the right to opt out of the sale of personal information, those rights apply to you. We do not sell personal information, and we honor requests under those laws.
Children's privacy
Families are welcome at the Mothership, and many of our players are under 18. Our website forms are meant to be completed by an adult or by a teenager with a parent or guardian's permission. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without a parent's consent.
If you believe a child under 13 has submitted a form on this site, email info@gamesmothership.com and we will delete the information promptly. Parents and guardians may review or delete any information we hold about their child at any time.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. Booking and registration records are held in a password-protected system that only store staff can reach, and staff access to the store dashboard is limited to accounts we create. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you give us in proportion to how sensitive it is.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we collect or use information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. Where a change is significant, we will also mention it on the site or in the newsletter. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
